Fair isn't the same as short
The “closest” place is often the least fair one.
Most maps minimise total travel. That happily sends one friend across the city so two others can stroll over. Equidine weighs the longest single journey, the gap between journeys and the total — and you decide the balance with a slider.
- Adjustable fairness-versus-convenience weighting, documented and deterministic.
- Deal-breakers first: diet, strict budgets, journey limits and leave-by times skip places that don't work.
- Unknown stays unknown. If we don't know a menu is vegetarian, we say so.
